About Diana

Diana Saverin

Diana Saverin studied English and creative writing at Yale. Her writing has appeared in The Atlantic, Outside, Orion, The Guardian, and others.

Diana grew up in Connecticut, and first made her way to Alaska with a summer grant to produce stories for a public radio station in Sitka. Since then, she’s held a range of jobs in the state, including as a journalist, creative writing instructor at the University of Alaska, a commercial fishing deckhand, a dog handler, and a ski coach.

When she’s not writing, Diana teaches yoga and leads backpacking and mountaineering courses for NOLS. She lives in Anchorage, Alaska.
